Alternatively, you can still download and install the server edition. It continues to provide the offline backup feature (for as long as MYOB deems it appropriate). Hopefully, MYOB will recognise the error in its ways and revert to offline backups permanently. However, based on my experience, this is highly unlikely, as I have been requesting the ability to email customer payment receipts since the introduction of email, yet the feature remains unavailable.
I just downloaded the server edition, it didn't work, I still got the same window telling me that the back up will go to the cloud.
