Hi, This all came on to our system today and we were using SE edition, so now we can only use the online version or the PC edition - we did not know this was going to happen. As MYOB only backs up once a week, this is not enough to ensure data integrity, data retention and the chance of so much data being corrupted between back ups could be very high. We need to continue the local backup option so we can go back to previous years files for whatever the business reason. How are we supposed to open any back up made from now onwards if we can only use 2026.4 on the SE version? If we need to review an older file online how can we ensure our online file is not overwritten by opening a backup file? I am not even sure at this time how to access a backup file. This process takes away the fundamentals of a business being able to review and provide past data when required; it is up to the business how they utilise their data, I don't believe the software company should have the overarching authority for this. Same with other queries, if a business chooses to change software providers how do they access their data to move to another service?
