I used to use the Server edition, so I could revisit previous backups/years - a must when dealing with auditors.
This morning MYOB refused to let me log on to the online file with a server edition - forcing me to install a client edition. Now I can no longer backup locally.
Sorry, not only do I not trust MYOB backups online, online backups don't provide me with the functionality I need. I could go into any number of scenarios where this is just bad. MYOB have shown time and again they do not really understand the user base requirements. Really - how is it hurting MYOB if a company wants their backups stored locally? Are they such a control freak, that they feel the need to insist on online backups? Instead of providing a service, they are playing god.
Forget disaster recovery planning and having alternate options in place for disaster scenarios. MYOB just blew that out of the water.
I'm sure everyone else already on this list has said something similar, but I'm adding my comment, so MYOB understand this is having a widespread effect.
