Not Happy!!!! - Invoice correction for Online Payment transaction fees error

I received an email today at 2:41pm advising the following

"that Online Payment transaction fees for the period February to May 2026 may not have been correctly displayed on your tax invoice for the corresponding month.

This issue has now been resolved, and we will send a tax invoice with the correct information shortly.

Please note that this issue only affected how transaction fees were displayed on your tax invoices. Fee calculations and billing were not impacted."

As I pass all fees to the customer to pay, I didn't think much of it. I was at my computer when an email arrived at 9:08pm. It was an invoice from Myob for these fees. I did a review to confirm that the fees had been collected from the customer and have lodged a support request disputing the invoice.

Just wanting to make others aware of my issue.  If you have direct debit setup, Myob may take the payment when none is should be.

After the debacle of terminating support of offline files at such short notice and so close to the end of the FY, I have become very concerned with the service Myob is providing. Come on Myob you can do better!!!!!

    Hi Amanda

Thank you for your outline, but it still makes no sense to be receiving an invoice like this outside of the normal billing cycle. It does not have indication that it is paid. There are instructions on how to pay. The client has his credit card attached to the account with direct debit each month.

    Hey Tas62 tmilne

I can see why that looks confusing. This invoice is not asking you to pay the same amount twice, it’s showing the online payment fee that was already taken when the payment came through. Our invoice typically includes "(Paid)" after the amount but wasnt possible with this one-off invoice. Rest assured you don't need to pay that amount for Online payments fees.

I too just received an out of cycle client bill with an outrages fee, normally around $70 monthly invoice issued covering 1st to last of month, this is for $382.85 and it is mid-month. Will lodge a support dispute tomorrow :-(
