Thank you, lisadgs but running or accessing the update is not the issue. The MYOB Team kiosk automatically runs did the update overnight, then it will lock ALL staff out of the MYOB Team Kiosk, which means they cannot login or clock times until the data file is updated. There is usually not a staff member at the premises that has access to the data file to do the update, this will mean that the staff are locked out until this can happen. Normally as soon as I find this out I log in and complete the update. I had checked earlier in the day and there was not an update showing to be able to up date the data file. I should have stated that the support staff were advising the checking for updates as a preventative measure, which is redundant if the staff are kicked out before, or as soon as the update is available. Checking for an update after the fact will not help.
I agreeing with Hinterland1, as primarily as a desk top user I was not impressed with the update.
