Company Kiwisaver Contribution

Question

Recently I had an employee approach me about the company contribution towards their Kiwisaver.&nbsp; When I look in my payroll it is showing company contribution 3% of gross pay.&nbsp; However when I calculate what 3% is of their gross pay is the amounts don't match.&nbsp; Any ideas on why this might be? Thanks

Hi Lindaur64 - thanks for your question.

Your MYOB software will automatically calculate the correct KiwiSaver contribution, but if you want to check that calculation I'd suggest you take a look at this IR information.
