Account Right - how to delete transaction in electronic payments list

Hi there, I accidentally added two transactions to my electronic payment list. How do I remove them? Thanks for your help in advance.  Kath

    Hi, KMG123

     

    Thanks for your post.

     

    When deleting the transactions, kindly go to Find Transactions > Account tab > Select the electronic clearing account and then look and open for the transactions that you need to delete > Click the Edit menu > Select Delete Transaction. You may also check The Help Article: Finding a transaction for further information on how to find transactions and to delete/remove them.

Thanks Doreen. The probem we have is that the electronic payments list dates back to 2012! It also includes payments from an old bank account that we no longer have access to, so I am not sure your suggestion is possible? Ideally it would be great to just simply delete them directly. There is an option to delete but that crashes us out of the window. I have not used electronic payments before so I am not at all confident with what I am doing, Our accountant alo advised us not to change from the electronic payment setting in payroll, so I guess the list will just keep building!

Thanks for getting back to us.

 

Since the transactions showing on the prepare electronic payments window are from 2012, we recommend creating a new electronic clearing account and then having it linked to the payroll so that the old transactions will not appear. We recommend speaking with your accountant when creating the new electronic account.
