Hi Gavin, Thanks for your reply and direction. We are testing this but it makes no sense as we have never had issues with this before and even without changing anything other than the date on the invoice, myob still crashes.
I have contacted myob support and they suggested the same workaround as you mentioned, however like I said it has never happened in all the years we have used myob. Something has changed in the backend of myob for this to now be happening. I have read other users posts of this same thing happening and with no resolution even after reviewing item stock on hand not being zero (which is obviously not the problem!)

Is there anyone from MYOB that can help us with this error that is still occuring? We have tried the chat support service but just keep getting the same run around answer. We need this resolved asap as it is now affecting our Inventory Balance Report being out of balance.

Thank you for your post.
This error generally occurs when trying to edit an item invoice/bill where an item has a 0 on-hand quantity. However, if there are no items with a 0 on-hand quantity, could you please send me the below details via private message so that I can raise this with our teams?
- Serial number
- Business name
- Your name + email
- Screenshot of the invoice/bill window
- Screenshot of the "somethings gone wrong" error that displays
