Hi tfrecklington,
Good pick-up. That once can definitely make you do a double take. What you're seeing isn't a bug, but more just how the In Tray behaves. When you create a bill from the In Tray, MYOB grabs the date straight off the supplier invoice and drops it into the bill. It doesn't actively check the lock date at that point. The lock date actually kicks in when you try to record or save the transaction. So if that bill date is before your lock date, MYOB should stop you from finalising it.
If you're finding it's still letting you save a bill dated before the lock date without any warning, that's a bit suss and worth a closer look. In that case, I'd recommend jumping onto our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account so the team can dig into your file with you.
Regards,
Sai

Hi Sai
THank you for your reply.
Yes MYOB is allowing this date to be saved, it is bypassing the lock date.
This is puzzling our accountants and auditors.
Regards
Trent
