Currently, the backorder feature is only available in the desktop version and not yet translated to the online application counterpart. Here is the help article Comparing inventory in MYOB Business and AccountRight that could give you more information regarding the difference of online and desktop versions. Rest assured the team's goal is to make the online application as close as the desktop version as possible.
Here is the help article MYOB Business release notes that will give you information regarding the updates of the current online version.
