I am trying to set up the invoice date as the last day of each month (for examples 31/07,30/09/2026 etc.). Currently the date shown on MYOB invoice is the date on which the data is exported from the other platform (for examples 12/07, 05/09/2026).
Any ideas much appreciated.

Thanks for explaining how the invoice dates are coming through from the other platform. In AccountRight, the invoice date comes from the Date field in the import file. To show month-end in MYOB, that field needs to contain the last day of the month before you import. Payment terms set when the invoice is due, not the invoice date.
