Electronic payment in Spend money section

Morning all

I switched on MYOB this morning after not being on for a few days only to find that I cannot switch off the electronic payment part on Spend money.  The little box is unticked as I do not do electronic payments but it will not allow me to enter a payment without setting up a card.

How can I turn it off?

    Hi Helen05,

     

    That certainly is odd if electronic payments are already unticked and MYOB is still asking you to set up a card before you can enter a Spend Money payment.

     

    A couple of quick things to try first:

    • Make sure you're entering it as a standard Spend Money transaction, not through an online payment or card payment flow.
    • Sign out of MYOB, sign back in, and try the transaction again after confirming electronic payments are turned off.

    If it is still forcing the card setup after that, it will need to be checked by support from the backend, as that is not expected when electronic payments are off. You can reach out by creating a ticket in My Account or connecting with our live chat team through MOCA, our virtual assistant.
