how to remove the $ sign from invoices

Hello,   We are trying to remove the dollar sign from amounts on invoices so the number amount only appears. I found the attached instructions which I followed and then re-started, but the dollar ...

    Hi MYOBuser24 

     

    This article refers to onscreen display only - note the comment - 'The currency symbol will always display on reports' - this includes invoices. The only way to remove is to use a different currency or change your Windows Region currency settings to show no symbol. This will remove from most parts of an invoice, however certain invoices, such as Item invoices the $ symbol is hard coded.
