Inventory Un-building stock item

Hello,

I have an inventory item that has been broken down into individual parts & I want to bring them into stock to be able to sell them. I think the best way to bring these parts into stock is to unbuild the original item.

But the problem I have is that back in November 2022 we sold one of the main parts of this inventory item & to book it out of stock we used the original iventory item number. Therefore I can't select that item to unbuild.

How should I bring these individual parts into stock? The original item was purchased & therefore had a value.

Do I create the item then use "Count Inventory" to bring it in?  Do I give it a value when using this method?

I have attached a screen shot of a warning when I use the "Count Inventory".

Any help would be appreciated as I have a lot of parts to bring into stock.
