Price List Reports & Exports showing incorrect data

Hi Community,

I've come across an issue where the Price List information is shown incorrectly when running a report or exporting the data.  The prices are correct in MYOB, but not in the reports or exports.

This only happens for some parts - please see attached pdf explaining the issue.

I'm trying to do a mass update of our prices, and cannot due to this issue.

Has anyone else come across this and how to fix it?  I've read in a post that it has something to do with "..duplicate entries in MYOB in the price matrix..".

Thanks and appreciated

Vic

    Hi MarkR32

Thanks for the screenshots. That certainly is odd, since it only happens on exports and reports.

We’ve seen cases where duplicate entries in the item price matrix can cause the Price List report or export to show the wrong values for some items, even when the price showing in MYOB looks correct.

A couple of quick things worth checking first:

    • Try running the report or export for one affected item, then compare it with an item that’s showing correctly to confirm whether it’s only happening on specific items.
    • Open one of the affected items in MYOB and check the pricing setup there against what comes through in the report or export.

Because that usually needs a backend check, the best next step is to contact support so they can investigate the file and confirm whether that’s what’s happening here. You can reach out to our support team by creating a ticket in My Account or connecting to our live chat team through MOCA, our virtual assistant.

  • Hi Genreve,

    Thank you for your response.

I've tried running reports for and exports for individual items and the issue remains, even though the item shows the correct pricing when opened in MYOB.

I'll see if I can hold on someone on the helpdesk.

    Cheers
