If you've already entered sales transactions, the system will usually keep numbering your sales sequentially based on the last saved number—unless you decide to make changes. Now, if you're noticing a prefix, like "INV," showing up on your invoice numbers, it's probably linked to the way the "Sales numbering" feature is set up. By default, that feature assigns prefixes like "INV" when enabled. You can adjust or turn off this prefix behavior anytime by tweaking the settings. For more info, check out this link.
