Sales Select item by name - 1 of our 4 logins can only select by item number although preferences are set to item name

Setup>>Preferences>>Windows -- Select Items by Item Name, Not Item Number is a user-specific preference. As such, it does need to be enabled by each user individually through the preferences.

Please Note: If the user does have restricted access to the Preferences window, they would need to be granted access to that window through the User Access window through their role (or be adding Administrator as a role) to enable the preference. This access can be disabled once the preference is enabled.
