Saving Invoice Default File Name

Hi,

 

how can I change the invoice default file name when I save the invoice to disk from being INV[invoice number].pdf to Tax Invoice [invoice number].pdf

 

We save all our invoices to then manually email to our customers and having to always change the file name when saving the invoices is annoying.

    Hey JeremyH,

     

    That must have been an extra effort to change the invoice file name manually. The filename generated when using the "Send to Disk" functionality for sales is based on a pre-defined value, i.e., "INV," followed by the invoice number. Unfortunately, users cannot change this default filename to a different format within the software.

  • Having a similar issue when printing invoices by batch

     

    We follow the below process

    However the file name for each invoice is blank when generated.  Is there a way to assign the CARD ID to each invoice when it is generated?

      Hi ChemMYOB

       

      MYOB software doesn't currently support the ability to name batch invoices individually. If you think this feature would enhance the software's functionality to suit user needs better, I suggest posting it as a suggestion on the Ideas Exchange board. This platform allows users to vote on ideas and helps the development team prioritize future updates.
