Good afternoon - I have started the process to verify my account for secure invoicing but one of the fields that needs a required answer, i.e. Industry which has a drop down menu does not have our industry in at all, I can not even see anything under constructions. We are a skip bin hire company (waste control) so what do I select in such a case? Hope I'm not being blind but I went through the list twice. Thanks :)
Hi Doreen_P Thanks for the reply, and I don't mean to be ungrateful but this doesn't help me at all since there is not one of those in the list that are even close to our industry, which is not an unusual type of Industry at all - I really think your list is far from complete, maybe someone can have a look at it. But I will talk to my accountant anyway.

If your specific industry is not listed in the drop-down menu for the "Industry" field during the account verification process, you can select the closest related industry. In your case, since you are a skip bin hire company (waste control), you might consider selecting an industry related to waste management or a similar field. If none of the options seem appropriate, we highly suggest reaching out to your accountant for an accurate answer.

I would be asking why they need this information in the first place - sounds like collecting information for their own benefit.
MYOB is choosing to ignore the crux of the issue - if a business does not use and will not use anything that includes payments why should it be a requirement to provide financial information - bank details etc to enable a busienss to continue to email invoices through the software package they pay for?
