How long will the pop ups for "1 October surcharging changes" persist in AR Desktop?
I've seen this persistent pop up about 10 times this morning and I've only been in the office for an hour.
I think all of these pop ups should have a don't show me again link to acknowledge and stop.
Brace yourselves. You guys are going to cop it today just like the extra QR code printed page debacle from a few months ago...
It has a mind of its own at this point! It REALLY wants you to know about these changes.
You were spot on with your other comment, this was intended to just show once and then only show when going to the "i" (unsure if this was a click or hover though)

Especially as it is the 14th August - its complete overkill to have it as a pop up now. Less important issues have not had a pop up at all!
I have closed it multiple times and it persists every time I go to print an invoice. Please turn this off MYOB!

Maybe all these pop ups could be coded to show once per day (once per week would be better) and then only shown if the "i" bubble is physically clicked with a mouse.
Yah mate, I would have had this pop up come up 30 times now. Every time I go into a sale and even the sales register. By the end of the day this will be etched in my memory. I'll be dreaming about October 1 tonight 🤨.
The annoying thing is that even when I move to a different program it persists and covers just like the pic below, until I click the X. Then I go back to AR Desktop and it pops up again.

We understand why you’d want a “don’t show me again” option. Seeing the same pop-up repeatedly can be a real hassle. At this stage, we haven’t confirmed how long the “1 October surcharging changes” pop-ups will continue to appear in AccountRight Desktop, or whether a dismissal option will be added. The surcharge changes take effect from 1 October 2026, and there’s nothing you need to change today. We’ll share more product-specific guidance before the change takes effect.
