Annual Leave Entitlements

    Hi DG11,

     

    Welcome to the Community Forum. 

     

    At present, the default accrued hours for entitlements are linked to the Entitlement category. This means it's not possible to set different hours for different employees within the same entitlement category. A workaround could be to create a new entitlement category with a default of 5 weeks. This new category can then be assigned to the employee who is entitled to 5 weeks of annual leave. Also, I recommend reading through the article 'Leave and Entitlements' for a better reference to the process.

Hi,

It’s possible to set individual annual leave accruals in AccountRight Plus by creating a separate entitlement category for the 5-week annual leave group. Assign this category only to staff eligible for the 5 weeks, and set the accrual rate to 9.6153% of Gross Hours. This way, you can manage entitlements without needing two separate pay runs.

Alternatively, if you'd like to double-check calculations or streamline adjustments, tools like Annual Leave Calculator can be handy for accuracy and quick setup.
