Employee PAYG Withholding keeps reverting to Foreign Resident

We have 4 employees whose PAYG Withholding is set at Foreign Resident when they are not Foreign Residents. I go into each employee card file, down to Taxes and click on PAYG Withholding. When I use ...

Ok Thanks Sam - That makes sense and the Tax Free Thershold is selected in the area you have advised. 

 

Only thing is when I recently did a pay for $480. It didnt take any PAYG - by my calculations from the ATO Tax Tables, it should have taken some tax???

Hi

 

Is the pay weekly?

If so then yes PAYG should be taken out 

If fortnightly - then no PAYG 

 

Check the employee card and check payroll details

wages tab is the frequency set up correctly

in Taxes tab is PAYG ticked

In standard pay tab does PAYG appear ( in bold)with calculated (greyed out) appear
