Pay rates keep reverting

I had an issue last week with the pay rates for all but a few employees reverting to a previous pay rate.

I fixed the issue by updating each employee manually and redid the pay run.

This week the pay rates are again reverted to a previous pay rate for the same employees.

Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi LDatar,

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear this has happened again. To help narrow it down, could you please double check the hours set for the pay cycle in the employee card file, and also check the employee’s Standard Pay details to make sure the pay rate hasn’t been zeroed out or changed there. If both of those look correct and the pay rate is still reverting, it’d be best to reach out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account so they can take a closer look into what’s causing it.

    Regards,

    Sai

    Hi all

This is Tracey_H, former Moderator, I'm telling you who I am because I need you to understand that I know the software and I know how to test the software. This is a bug that you need to take seriously.

Isaiah - there's no hourly pay rate in the Standard pay tab and the hours in a pay cycle don't impact changing the pay rate.

I have this happening across 14 company files. We change the hourly pay rate and the next day it has reverted back to the old rate. This is our testing:

Hourly rates have been updated and are correct in Tanda

Change the hourly pay rate in AR, click ok, go back into the card, click ok again.

Selected Revert to default and Keep current

Changed the hourly pay rate, then selected Salary, click ok, go back in and change back to hourly

This is the really important part - if we change the pay rate and log out then log back in the rate has stayed at the new rate. It's when we go back in the next day that the rate has reverted to the old rate. This may have something to do with Tanda but please don't assume there's no issue unless you check the rate the next day.

We have approx 200 employees with around 50 that have had rate increases over the last few weeks. Every week we have to go and change the rates for those employees before processing payroll.

It is coming up to the 1st July with significant minimum award increases, there will be more users impacted by this.

Please take this seriously and do your own testing, just make sure you check the pay rate the next day.

    Thank you

    Hi TBDT

We have done some testing on our end and are unable to replicate the symptoms you mentioned. If you are using the payroll function in your file without any 3rd party integrations, pay rates are saved and updated without reverting back to the previous instance at a later time. Recommend you get in touch with Tanda for further investigation and assistance.
