EOFY Finalisation report Sent but not Accepted by ATO

Hi,

One of our employees has come to us saying their end of year income is not showing up when they try to complete their Tax return.

We did the EOFY finalisation back at the start of August. The employees are all ticked with final indicator.  However when we go to our reports, the EOFY report is showing as sent, not accepted as all the other reports are.

Does anyone know why this would be? There are no indications of any errors.

Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

    Hi BelindaIreland

Another bookkeeper in my network had a similar issue.   Apparently the issue was that the employee card file had a space in the telephone number.    Check there is no space in the telephone number at the end as well.

    Bizarre I know!!

Apparently you have to fix this and then do the STP finalisation again.

Let us know if this works.

    Hi Belinda

If Cloud_Mind's suggestion does not resolve the of the issue, then I recommend opening the report to see if there was a problem, or if it was simply still sending before.

To check the status of the submission; Go to Payroll > Payroll Reporting > Payroll Reporting Centre > Open the date for the report > Check the reply from the ATO.

It should now either say Accepted or Rejected. If it is accepted then there is nothing more to do. If it is rejected, I have included instructions on how to resolve the error depends on the error code that is displayed: Fix rejected reports in Single Touch Payroll.

If the above article does not help you resolve the error, can you respond with the status of submission and a screenshot of the STP Report Status.
