EOFY STP for re-commenced employee

In 2024–25, I had an employee terminate. They then recommenced employment with us in 2025–26. I removed the termination date, made the employee active again, and entered the new start date.

 

I am now at the 2025-26 EOFY STP finalisation stage and noticed that the employee is listed under the '2025–26 employee terminations' tab with the termination date from FY 2024–25.

 

I am wondering whether I should leave that employee there in the employee termination for 2025-26 or click “Undo” because the employee did not terminate during the 2025–26 financial year?

 

im just confused why they are appearing in the 2025-26 terminations

    If the STP termination date is within the 24-25 year but showing in the terminations for the 25-26 year, recommend not to undo as this employee was termination from the entity in that year.
    It is showing in the 25-26 year as the employee is active in the new year

    No need to add back the termination as the employee has joined the entity again.
    Maybe just add note in the employee card for your reference.

    Unfortunately the MYOB Live Chat said it was fine to click undo which i did and then finalised the EOFY finalisation. I am wondering if you have suggestions on what i can do now? do i just re-add that termination back in on the 2024-25?
