Final pay mishap - urgent help needed
OMG I just went to process end of year payroll and I am out $170.83. on comparing the payroll summary report and comparing the YTD finalisation report - it is for unused leave - it’s on the pay...
You will need to look at older pay slips to find when the unused pay was paid as it wasn't paid on the final slip (there is 2 hours noted on the slip but no payment amount which will only remove hours from the entitlement balance). If the amount varies for the category in the YTD verification, try running a blank slip for the employee and reporting it to the ATO as you would normally.
