Flare Benefits

Totally hear your concern. There’s no option in MYOB to switch Flare off. This has been raised with our developers, and we've added your account to the list of users keen to turn off Flare benefits for employees. While there's no set timeframe yet, rest assured you'll receive an email update from us when there's any news or progress on this. You can also flick a vote with this feature posted on our ideas board.

Hi, I posted 2 years ago about how to stop offering Flare benefits and I just realised that my question is marked as solved. This is odd as it isn't solved. I have also tried to register the suggestion to the link above to the AccountRight Ideas Exchange board for consideration but couldn't find where to lodge it on the site. Basically, I don't think anything has been done and I still want to stop offering Flare benefits. Please lodge this issue for me (and others).

How do we stop flare from MYOB.  One of our employees wants to turn this off as they are concerned all the details are held by a third party.  I cannot even find a phone number from them.  How disgusting from MYOB to force this on their MYOB subscribers

Doreen - I can't understand why when an issue is posted here that Myob staff just doesn't take it seriously and we have to repost on yet another Myob information site!  What a waste of our time.  If you can take the time to tell us to repost it - just use that time to inform relevant staff in Myob there's complaints about Flare.  Which I believe is an opportunity for staff information to be hacked and Myob can say - its nothing to do with us - it's Flare's data breach.

Good idea - but does entering data manually prevent the employee from still being bombarded with flare emails - my new staff are stressed by this.

@myob I agree with JennyPTA We should be able to opt out of Flare.  Feel like we are being strong armed into something that we do not need or want. There should be an option to OPT IN!

There isn't a specific timeframe for when the option to disable Flare benefits will be implemented. The best way to bring attention to this feature request is to vote on the relevant post on the AccountRight Ideas Exchange board. This helps notify the right team about the demand for this feature.
