How to record employee direct payment from WorkCover?

Hi, 

We have employee claim the WorkCover. WorkCover directly pay to employee. How do I record the payment ? Also,how to report to ATO and calculate payroll tax?

    Hi Labubu,

     

    WorkCover can be a bit of a tricky one. Since the payments are being made directly to the employee, there are a few things to consider around how it's recorded, what gets reported to the ATO, and how payroll tax is handled.
