Leave accrual for a 40 hour working week

The Annual leave Payroll category is showing 7.6923% percentage of Gross Hours however, on the payslip it is only calculating 2.9230 (38hr week) not correctly as 3.0769 to take into account our 40 hour work week.

The Personal leave Payroll category is showing as 3.84615% percentage of gross hours however, on the payslip it is not calculating at all. This too needs to calculate based on a 40 hour week not 38.

First of all I'd suggest checking if the correct leave entitlement category is ticked in the employee cards, in case there are more than one leave categories set up and the wrong one is ticked for the affected employee.

Once you drill into the employee card > Payroll Details > Entitlements, click on the arrow next to the ticked entitlement category to view the settings. If it does show 7.6923% of Gross Hours, please click on the 'Exempt' button at the top to check if any wage categories are incorrectly exempt from calculation.

With the above all checks out, start a new pay right now, by entering 40 as the hours worked, what is the leave calculated at? If the current calculation is correct but the past pay figures are incorrect, then the leave set up would be incorrect at the time of recording.

Please feel free to let us know how you go.
