Ok so I gave it a go... every other employee is fine. Just the one old (previously terminated) record for one employee is still missing the Base Salary figure 😥 You were right, I could undo the finalisation - i did that for just this employee. Wonder if I can still process a payrun today? I'm not paying that record as he has been set up as a new card - as advised by MYOB!
Oh geez there's issues with first payruns too???? This is unbelievable and unacceptable!!!
When I have had two cards for one employee there are two entries for that individual on the payroll reporting list (one was for their apprenticeship (terminated), the other as a casual employee). Do you have two entries for that employee? If not maybe that has something to do with your problem?
Yes I do have two entries. The newer one is fine. It's the previous/older record that had been terminated (which I unterminated) that is the issue. Just the Base Salary figure is missing. The other categories - banked hours, annual leave etc are fine. The ATO category is correct... I can't work it out! The Payroll Activity report includes it but the Register and YTD finalisation reports don't. Go figure!! I've tried the $0 payrun a few times, no change.
did you undo the termination in the MOB file as well? I have no idea - sorry! This is crazy and so very stressful!
yes i did that too.. makes no sense that all other figures come across but not that one category!
I've just posted on the ATO community to ask what we're meant to do when MYOB aren't helping us with issues with their program causing us to not be able to do STP finalisation and process pays... Will let you know if I hear back!
