If someone had 4.5 hours sick and they normally work an 8 hour day. I am finding MYOB does not like this. Does it only allow a full day or a half day leave?

Absolutely! MYOB handles partial sick leave, so you can easily record something like 4.5 hours without a hitch. All you need to do is pop those 4.5 hours into the leave pay item. This way, it tracks the leave properly and makes sure they’re paid for it. Then, you can enter the remaining hours they worked into ordinary hours. For more info check out this link.
