My problem is changing an employee to a contractor. I set up a new card, same employee details however followed myob's advise and set Income as labour hire and employment basis as Other- not reported which seems ok. However, I'm unable to submit the super amount as an error occurred stating I already have used the super details for another employee. Myob doesn't seem to recognise it's same person, different employment basis even though I terminated him as an employee before entering him on a new card as suggested by my accountant. Should I have kept the original employee card, not terminated him but just changed the labour hire and employment basis?
