WOW, 2 years later and we still have the same problem, can we please have the option to remove the notes/memo section that is required on the employee card details but not required on Payroll Advise Report (need to be sent to 3rd party). Employee onboarding has been setup to record the Emergency Contact Details into the Notes section of an Employee Card Details TAB, the programmer should also check what damage this does elsewhere in the setup of reports. Please get onto a solution MYOB.
I have just come across this also with a new employee. So much time wasted fixing basic issues on MYOB. Is it really a premium product anymore?? Such simple but time wasting things need to be fixed before I start looking at MYOB as an option for clients again

That’s a fair call, especially when emergency-contact details are appearing on a report you need to share. In AccountRight, these details are stored in the employee card’s Notes field, and there isn’t currently a setting to hide Notes from the Payroll Advice report. For now, export the report to Excel, remove or redact those details, and check the copy before sharing it. This won’t change the employee’s record. You can also add this idea on the AccountRight Ideas Exchange to help bring this request to the development team’s attention.
