Hey TraceyB06,
Your idea to link GL code so that it goes direct to the correct department is great for an efficient and accurate recording. The feature to link payroll categories directly to their own GL codes for automatic departmental allocation isn't supported. With that, I encourage you to please take a moment to post on the AccountRight Ideas Exchange board for consideration.
