Payroll Processing Issue and Lost Data - July 2021
Good morning,
Further to my initial post on 6/7 ie. processed payroll 100+ staff, saved during the process, recorded, but failed to process/ record any pays, and the whole payroll was cleared / lost.
I re-processed 5 staff at a time, recorded and processed successfully. (Which took a really long time.)
Our next payroll is due 20/7.
Will a MYOB update be issued/ installed before then to fix this issue, or do you need to run the script over our file?
I do not want to process 100 + pays and lose all the data again/ nor do I really want to process 5 at time.
Can you please advise.

You only need to upload your file online for processing the first payroll in the new payroll year. Once you have done that and restored the backup locally, all the subsequent payrolls can be processed without having to upload the file online again.
If you encounter a different situation when processing the next payrun locally, let us know so we can investigate this further.
