Payroll Setup Easy Assistant ERROR

Question

Hi, I am completing MYOB Practice Set as apart of a university assignment for accounting.

As i am still setting up my business within MYOB, when i click on 'setup', then 'easy setup assistant', then 'payroll', i proceed to click on the box which says 'load tax tables' as the perdisco learning centre suggests and my perdisco instructions says to. However, MYOB's system appears to have a glitch/error where no tax tables will load nor open..... the page comes up for 0.1 seconds and disappears every time i try open it.

With Single Touch Payroll it is probably already there. Setup would only take a couple of seconds, also ( in AUST) the tax tables havent changed for a couple of years

I suggest you ignore for the time being but run a payroll to check

When you process the pay check that the PAYG is calculated correctly by comparing it with the ATO PAGW and if it does all okay

Hi&nbsp;imogenkojones&nbsp;&nbsp;I take it you are using MYOB v19.14 19.15 or v19.16 (see Help &gt; About). If yes this is caused by a bug in MYOB, it won't let you load tax tables until you have set a payroll year, however you can't set a payroll year until you load tax tables.&nbsp;Try this. Close MYOB. Make a copy of the company file as a precaution. Change system date to 2019. Run MYOB and open company file - load tax tables. Close MYOB. Change date back. Open MYOB. If forced to Activate before tax tables can be loaded, start by creating a new file, but with system date in 2019. Once tax tables are loaded, change system date back to today.&nbsp;RegardsGavin
