I have a payrun which has not been picked up by the stp reporting report. This was done when the system was set up and is the first payrun we did. Is there a way where a payrun can show up in the stp reporting and then we can update the ato.

There are a couple of reasons why a pay run might not show up in the STP reporting window. Most likely, it’s because the pay run was processed before STP was switched on, or maybe it’s showing as an update event because the pay date is earlier than when it was recorded. You can send an update event to fix things with the ATO, but you’ll also need to check your payroll activity and register reports against your EOFY verification. If that missing pay run shows up in those reports, even if it’s not in the STP report, you should be fine as long as all three reports match up.
