Reprinting 3 months of Payslips for one employee

I need to reprint 6 months =(13) payslips for one employee.  I have followed the instructions in the help guide "exactly" with no result.    I have tried clearing the cache as mentioned in a previo...

    Embarrassingly after struggling with this for "a long time" I have solved my own issue by printing a payroll advice report from the reports tab.

    This report gives me the payslip information I seek to calculate a back pay.  

    Hope this helps some one else one day!
