Salary Sacrifice (RESC) & Verification report

Hi,

I need to verify Payroll Summary report and Verification report,  but there is a  difference of Salary Sacrifice (RESC) figure between two reports.  Total salary and wages as per payroll sumary report in Verification's report shows amount less by Salary Sacrifice Superannuation.  According to explanation on the webpage Checking STP totals after moving to STP Phase 2 these two figures should be equal. Could you please explain what is wrong with these two reports?

      Hi Sam

       

      I checked to what ATO Reporting Category salary sacrifice super linked, it is Salary Sacrifice and RESC and type is Salary Sacrifice (Deduction).

        Thanks for confirming that.

         

        The next thing I would advise you to do is run a $0 pay run/update event to pull through any YTD totals that may have been missed. The below link will guide you through this process:

         

         

        Once processed, check and comapre your payroll reoprts again. Let me know how you go.
