Super Guarantee not calculating properly 12%

My employee just brought to my attention i wasn't paying the 12% super guarantee MYOB is calculating 11.5% How do I fix this

it says Minimum require rate (12% of gross)

12% of $595 = $71.40 not 68.43 (595 x 11.5%)

You can check the payroll categories assigned to the employee, as one of them may be marked as exempt from super, which could be causing the 11.5% calculation. If everything looks correct and it’s still calculating incorrectly, reach out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account so we can check and investigate further. Hey,

Had this exact issue before. Check two things:

    1. Payroll categories – make sure nothing is marked as "exempt from super" on that employee's assignments. Even a small allowance or reimbursement can throw off the calculation if it's exempt.
    2. Super rate on the employee card – sometimes it's manually overridden. Go to the employee's card > Payroll Details > Superannuation and check if the rate is set to 11.5% instead of defaulting to the system rate.

If those look fine, it might be a leftover from when the rate changed. MYOB sometimes doesn't auto-update historical payroll categories.

Worst case, MOCA chat can sort it. Good luck!

Hi Guys thank you for all the super tips.  Yes you are right due to the reimbursements it was thrown off cause even though Equal to calculation wasn't tick it still said 11.5% so i think that is where it was picking up from.  So all fixed now Fingers crossed it dosn't happen again
