Superannuation for older employee

We recently employed an older employee as a casual on minimal hours.  He has worked for a month and I have superannuation calculated. However, I found that I couldn't pay into his superannuation fund - the employee and I have agreed that I can pay him it direct. How do I configure this within MYOB so it side-steps the clearing house but I still see the amount I need to pay him?

    Hi greened,

Thank you for your post, and welcome to the Community forum.

In this case, you'll need to process the superannuation payment via Pay Liabilities. After you've recorded pays for your employees, you can make super payments to their funds directly from AccountRight with Pay Super. However, in this situation, since you're not using Pay Super and paying directly to the superfund, you'll need to use Pay Liabilities. Ensure that you've got the superannuation fund linked to the employee from the payroll categories and the super liability account to record the payments.

Please let me know if you require any further assistance with this. I'm happy to help.

    Cheers,

    Princess
