Appreciate for providing the error, super helpful! That “Unable to load the latest PAYG tax tables” message usually appears when the tax table revision date in your Payroll Information hasn’t updated correctly after installing the latest AccountRight version, which can happen after upgrading.
To update the date format and region to English (Australia), follow these steps:
1. Close all programs, then click the Start button.
2. Type Control Panel and open the Control Panel app.
3. Click Change date, time, or number formats.
4. In the Region window, set Format to English (Australia) (or English (New Zealand) if applicable).
5. Make sure the Short date format is set to d/MM/yyyy.
6. Click Apply, then OK.
7. Check the date and time in the bottom-right corner of your screen – it should now display in Australian format.
