Year End Finalisation

we have tried balancing our year end and it is out for 2 employees. their YTD reports are less than what they should be, however when we go back further in the year the YTD reports are correct for wh...

    I have figured it out, you need to send an "update event" as this will refresh the STP brain and then it balanced.

    if you have lock periods turned on or cost centres required you may need to deselect these first while you do this

    Send Update Event

    • Single touch reporting screen
    • STP reports tab
    • Select correct financial year
    • Click on “send update event”
    • Enter your details
    • Click send

Yes I have the same problem & it seems there are others 

MYOB have sent me information that is useless as what they say to do doesn't exist in my employee record & then they don't reply for days. I am so frustrated I am thinking of phoning the ATO & making a complaint about them. I just want someone to phone me & talk through the solution as online emails is not working

      Sorry you ran into those challenges with us KerrieLee, definitely not what we’re aiming for. Let’s team up and see what’s really going on. There are a couple of usual reasons why your YTD numbers might look a bit off. Sometimes it’s just a mismatch between the payroll activity and register reports, or it could be that a payroll category wasn’t set up quite right. To get things sorted, you can run with what Sally shared or look at this post for more handy tips.
