Access for Proposed New Owner

Hi

Currently have someone interested in buying our business.  As part of their due diligence, they would like to access our MYOB to view information.

So I know how to give them "read only access" but I would like them to only have access to the last 3 financial years.  The company has been going for 8 years and I don't think the first 5 years are relevant as the business has evolved into a different line of work.

Is there an easy way to export the information or use an accountant link to supply the information to their accountant for the last 3 years only?

Please advise if there is an option or a way around it.

Thank you for your help.

    Hi sandedede,

    Thanks for posting your concern.

We appreciate you explaining your need in detail. Unfortunately, there is no way to way to archive the first 5 years of the file. If we want the next business owner to have access to the file, there won't be any way to filter the data for just certain years. An alternative is to provide reports with the data for the last 3 years instead of inviting the new owner.

Let us know if you require any further assistance.

    We're happy to help.

    Thanks,

    Genreve
