Sorry if this is the wrong area to post.

I have emailed my accountant a copy of myob backup file.

when she unzips it is in PDF format.

I have sent the same file to my partner and it is fine.

I have no idea what is wrong with the file

I would like to know how to fix it as all I did was overwrite the backup then put it into drive.

The first file I sent was by email

      Thanks

    Hi maid,

Thanks for your post. AccountRight company files are stored as myox/myo files, and these are usually not automatically recognized within the Windows operating system. Consequently, users are prompted to choose an application to open the file. Most users tend to select Adobe Reader, often the first option listed.

If you need to modify the file extension association, we strongly advise reaching out to an IT professional. The settings for these associations are located within Windows, not within AccountRight or the MYOB software.

    Regards,
    Earl
