My Settings

Hi,

I just went to my settings to turn off all email notifications (reading about other users' issues and logging into the forum are not good for my productivity or my stress/frustration levels).

There is no save button on any of the settings pages that I can see, but when I try to navigate away from the pages, I get this warning.

I ended up selecting 'discard changes' eventually after looping through 'go back' more times than I care to admit.

It looks like my changes have saved anyway, but that means this warning is unnecessary. I was going to submit this a support request in Myaccount but none of the options in the dropdown boxes seemed to fit.

I also can't find an option to delete my forum account if I decide to do that at a later date.

    Hi H-TS,

Thanks for flagging this with us. Totally get how frustrating that little "unsaved changes" pop-up must've felt. Just to clear it up, the notification settings should save automatically (that's why you won't see a save button). We gave it a test on our end and it worked fine, so it might just be your browser having a bit of a moment. Try giving the page a refresh, or even switching to a different browser, and see if that smooths things out.

As for deleting your forum account, there isn't a self-serve button for that. We can do it for you if you're sure, but just a heads-up: once it's gone, all your posts, comments, likes and so on vanish too. That's why we usually don't encourage it, especially if you might want to dip back in later.

    Regards,

    Sai
