Hi TanyaBennett,
Great question! With Payday Super, you don’t need to manually change pay categories from OTE to QE. MYOB uses your existing pay categories and applies the right rules in the background. If your payroll setup is already compliant now, it'll stay compliant from 1 July without you needing to reconfigure anything.
Cheers,
Doreen

Thankyou. So there is also no change to creating new pay categories

I have noticed a payroll category was set incorrectly - it should have been excluded from super calc and OTE. I tried to tick the exclude option in Pay items but it will not save?

Hi lisafin,
It’s unusual that you’re not able to save after ticking the exclude option on the pay item. The best next step is to reach out to our support team so they can look into your file directly and sort this out for you. You can reach them on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA or by submitting a support case via MyAccount.Regards,
Earl
