Reminders List - Default to Due Date

1. Why does the Reminders List default to alphabetic order?  Doesn't make sense.  In previous versions (before online) the reminders list would be in due date order.

I know that you can click Column menu at top and change this but when this is done the page won't refresh (even when clicking green refresh button).

 

2. Items that are not yet due and are not set to display yet keep showing up.

Example.  An item might be set to recur monthly and display 3x days in advance.  This keep coming up well before it should.  Usually immediately after the current one is recorded.
