I would like to request an enhancement to MYOB AccountRight to allow users to search General Ledger accounts by typing part of the account name in transaction entry screens such as Spend Money, Receive Money, General Journal, and other windows where a GL account is selected.
This functionality already exists in MYOB Business and greatly improves data entry efficiency. Users can simply begin typing part of an account name and the matching accounts are displayed immediately.
After upgrading from MYOB Business to AccountRight Plus, I was surprised that this capability is not available. It feels like a step backwards in usability.
Implementing the same search behaviour across both MYOB Business and AccountRight would provide a more consistent user experience, reduce data entry time, and make AccountRight easier to use for both new and existing customers.
