Adding text in description section browser version in quotes

I've searched and searched and there does not seem to be a way to add text only(blank row for text only) in a quote without adding a category. In an invoice you can and in AR version you can. If you do it in AR this then makes the quote read only in browser which then limits further modifictations. Simple things like this which have been addressed for sometime now need to be added/fixed.
